Let us not soil our minds with an ill-thought vengeance so
that the innocent tenants of Islamic belief and the modern world are scuttled back
into the barbaric mist of the middle ages.
Let us put the blame squarely where it belongs on the
wretched souls and their leadership who planned and slaughtered the innocent in
the name of God in France and in so doing blasphemed against a loving God of
many names. One cannot kill in the name of a loving God, one only kills in the
delusion of martyrdom that leaves the soul empty of what it longs for.
Let us also not exonerate the collective self, the peaceful
people of the earth who live and let live in the toil of struggle and in the
grace of being. We, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs and all other
beliefs have allowed the radicalization of our young to become the stench of “looking
the other way.” Moderate Islam needs to decry and destroy the radicals who have usurped the Prophet's words to their own end.
The
litany of atrocities committed throughout history, via wars, crusades,
conflicts and by individual radical actions in all beliefs have paved the way
to the hell we now experience in the world. No one belief is exempt from contemptible
acts of violence.
To the radical jihadists of murder, death and destruction
you offend the peaceful tenants of The Prophet Mohammed. Mend your ways and
mind your backs for the peaceful and the gentle mettle of civilized humankind
is now poised to destroy you in ways you will never imagine.
