Moral Injury

It was a pleasure to be with CBS again. I just had the pleasure to narrate a documentary for the CBS Culture and Religion Unit.

But let me tell you why it was revelatory and emotional for me in reading the script.

There is a section in the documentary called: “Moral Injury.”  I had never heard of that before.  It is powerful. It is important and it is a necessary component in understanding the home tragedy of returning veterans and why we as a society must be aware and why we must provide the help to those we train to kill.
