The IRS has added more than 220,000 Americans to the list of those possibly affected by a data breach.

You'd think the ever vigilent IRS would have detected this right from the start of the breach. They can pick up a false deduction, an inaccuracy in interest income, but they can't assess the number of taxpayers who have been compromised by hackers.
