Somewhere in the past Wyoming GOP Senator Mike Enzi must
have angered former vice president Dick Cheney.
Cheney’s daughter Liz has announced that she will challenge Enzi next year for his job and she is also a republican. So much for party loyalty.
Liz Cheney said in her announcement that, “Wyoming needs a
strong voice in Washington.”
Sorry Liz, what Washington needs is fewer stronger voices,
but more sane ones, more Senators and Representatives willing to compromise for
the good of whole country not for personal belief as your father did.
What Washington especially does not need is another Cheney
in government.
But this is America, so go for it Liz and I hope the good
citizens of Wyoming can see the range droppings through the prairie grass.
