Look Again!

Things are not always as they seem.

The Senate approved a bill to curtail N.S.A. surveillance. It was a compromise. That's unique for this congress. BUT, there are many other ways the government can get the information they seek from our Internet and telephone calls.

There will always be a government covert agency who wants all data no matter whether it's relevant to their inquiry or not or whether it is obtained legally or illegally.

There will always be individuals who seek information for personal reasons either with benevolent or clandestine motives.

There will always be a marketer who sees our personal data as a means for profit.

There will always be a foreign power that wants and will use our personal data to try to manipulate our public opinion to their favor.

Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Unfortunately, it is human nature.
