A Letter to the Attorney General

Dear Mr. Eric Holder,

Mr. Attorney General, I know you think you need access to every phone in America in order to prevent or to be able to prosecute a few individuals who might be drug dealers or pedophiles and the like. And you would like to have a back door access from all the smart-phone manufacturers so you can scour for possible criminal activity or prove criminal activity in a court of law.

Sorry Mr. Attorney General.

You should know that America does not work that way. The adult population of America Is probably around 215 Million gives or take
.
We also all know that a lot of kids and teenagers have smart-phones, so that is another great number.

You want government access to all phones in America to be able to discern and investigate the very few that may be or are of criminal intent.

Sorry! That is not only a blatant invasion of privacy, but also a potential intrusion by government into the personal lives and likes of its citizens.

Government has never proven its honor or reliability to limit itself into the private lives of its citizens. I wish it would, but it hasn’t.

There will always be some administration officials or underlings who will corrupt the stated integrity of government policy and intrude into the private lives of peaceful and law-abiding citizens. So far, government has not proven in can be trusted.

The few who choose to be criminals does not justify the right of government access to millions of the rest of us.
