Friday Thoughts

Shame, shame on General Motors for putting greed before lives.

Accolades to the Senate for extending jobless benefits. The House, filled a partisan acrimony, has yet to vote.

Putin continues his dilusonary quest for Ukraine territory.

Spring is allegedly six days away.

Syrian children are dying, starving, suffering and all the world does is watch.

My sympathy to Jon Corzine and his family. His son Jeffrey died. He was 31. I know the pain. My son Lee died at 31.

There is constant sadness all over the world. Relatives await word on the Maylasian Jet disappearance. Family and friends await the missing in a New York City building explosion and collapse.

There is constant joy in this world if you choose to see and be it. I agree with poet Tagore.

"Every child comes into the world with a message from God that he is not discouraged with humanity."
