An Unused Power

I continue to wonder about the power of thought in the moments I set aside for thinking. My experience in life leads me to believe that everything begins with thought. No manifestation happens without the spiritual power behind thought.

Thought itself begins with intention, intention begins with inspiration and inspiration is the enthusiasm of spirit.

I am bold enough to suggest that that gift of divinity embedded within us is the quality and simplicity of unconditional love. The kind of love that’s granted to us by whatever we finitely and inadequately call the infinite Source: God, Jehovah, Yahweh, Allah, Lord, or All That Is.

We have never truly tried collectively to use our power of thought, our little piece of the divine that is entrusted to us in life, for the betterment of life and living.

What if we sent unconditional loving thoughts to those we think we hate, could it, would it change them? Could it, would it, change us.

It seems to me we have nothing to lose in trying. Something has to stop the insane slaughter on the battlefields and back yards of the world. Something must reach the barbaric minds of ISIS and their cruelty to the innocent.

Let it be through our power of thought and unconditional love. It is a power gifted to each of us by the loving presence of many names.
