I happened to be in New York City yesterday and got caught
in what is called a predicted gridlock.
A cab ride, which I seldom do, to go on a straight line from
66th street to 42nd street took nearly an hour and cost
$26.00. Why?
The President was in town. I’m told.
The solution is to keep the President out of town or take
the subway.
