Robot-Calls

It’s started!

Don’t politicians realize that most of us do not want to be bothered at home in the early evening with political computer generated telephone calls?

I write down the candidate’s names that I receive and I will not vote for them.

These robot-calls are offensive, intrusive, and disturbing of our domestic tranquility.

Once again the politicians voted themselves the right to be intrusive because they think the public likes getting personal calls from their representatives. Personal calls? You think? Unfortunately their telephone delusion extends to their continuous contention in their respective legislatures.

Save your money politicians. It doesn’t work. You only turn people off.

Here are  suggestions for all politicians.

Say at every political gathering where you stand on specific issues affecting your constituency. Do not embrace the negative just state the facts as you see them.

Listen to the people of your district because they have a greater grasp of local and even national issues than you do. They live in the real world, you don’t.

Remind yourself everyday that you are in an elite position granted to you by the voter and it is a privileged position generally not deserved, but you’ve got it and it is not permanent, now try to be of service to humanity, not to party.

And finally know that quality government is not damning the other side for what it did not or will not do. It is informing your citizens of what you hope to do if the privilege of office is granted to you.
