This is how escalation perpetuates itself. It starts with
sending a few warriors to guard American interests and property. It’s really
the U.S. Embassy and personnel and that’s right. It's what should have happened
in Benghazi, but that's another story.
Escalation continues with drone flights over the battle territory
and fight jet flights for reconnaissance. We did this before with the two
Bushes.
Enough! I am for protecting our citizens and property, but
nothing more. The Iraqi government of Prime Minister Nouri Maliki has been dismissive
of American suggestions. He has been contentious of American desires, but
willing to accept billions and billions of our treasure. Now he asked for
American air support to bomb the Sunni ICIS forces that Maliki has refused to
include in his government since he is a Shite.
Escalation!
