Monday Bites

On this mumble Monday some things that boggle the mind.

A rancher who is a Republican candidate for office in Arizona says that Democrats are behind most mass shootings. What is it with these people who say things that are idiotic and others believe them. He’d fit right in Congress these days.

Tis interesting that Vietnam and China are having a serious tiff. I remember forty years ago when Americans were dying in the rice paddies of Vietnam that the politicians were worried that China would send its forces to help North Vietnam. My how times change.

Why is it that some baseball fans cross their heart when Kate Smith sings God Bless America? It’s not the pledge of allegiance! It’s a song written by Irving Berlin.

Tomorrow is primary day in six states. Control of Senate is at stake. No matter what party you support, urge people to vote. Don’t let the dedicated few and the rich determine such an important outcome.

Karl Rove ought to have his head examined for brain damage.

The way a country treats its veterans says a lot about a country’s character.
