Flawed Research

And some of you wonder why I detest FOX news.

There is a fake story going around the Internet that President Obama is personally paying to keep a museum dedicated to Muslim culture open during the government shutdown. It is obviously false and apparently came from a satire website, The National Report.

Fox news host Anna Kooiman reported this as fact Saturday morning on Fox and Friends.

She later tweeted an apology saying, “I made a mistake…after receiving flawed research.” Flawed research? There was no research involved in this. Common sense should tell you it is not true. Common prejudice would want you to believe it. It is another blatant example of alleged journalists using anything they see and read on the Internet as truth.

Apparently the public laziness of checking facts has spilled onto Fox News to go along with their anti Obama rhetoric.

Shame.
