March rants…

Mitt and Ann Romney on Fox Television last weekend criticizing President Obama as ruining the country and blaming the media for Mitt’s loss.

Somebody please tell them the election is over.

Sequestration is about to hurt a lot of just plain folks. I think everyone is for cutting the fat out of the budget, with the exception of members of Congress.

BUT…why are we giving Egypt 250-million dollars in aid when we’ve got such fiscal troubles here at home? When will America’s foreign policy learn that you cannot buy loyalty or democracy? Just look at Pakistan.

And this one is not a rant, but an observation.

Switzerland voters approved a new measure to curb executive pay. Shareholders not have the ability to veto executive pay packages. It seems to be we (The United States) ought to look into that legislation.

And while we are at it let’s bring Congress into the common man's fold and set term limits. Let us also change their health care packages and retirements back into the Social Security System. We cannot expect them to have an emphathetic resonance with the citizenry unless they too are tied to the same rules and regulations. OK, this is a rant, not an observation.
