The Gorsuch Nomination

My Mother used to say to me, “ two wrongs don’t make a right.” I’d like to send that message and good counsel to all Democrats in the Senate.

Just because the collective and obstructive GOP prevented a hearing for President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee doesn’t mean that Democrats should do the same with President Trump’s nominee.

Neil Gorsuch is a good choice. The Supreme Court is an important and separate branch of our government. It needs a full complement of members to do its job. His nomination should be considered only on his merits. It should not be stalled or opposed because of a partisan quid pro quo.

Someone has to take the high road.
