We will now will sell weapons to Vietnam. I so wish it were other items. The United States is the largest seller of destructive weapons
in the world. It’s big business. Hopefully someday the world ‘s countries and
cultures will realize that weapons are not the security of sovereign nations;
education is.
Many times the weapons we sell come back to haunt us on the
battle fields of future conflicts. I think it’s important to embrace former
enemies, but I also wonder what the battle dead of Vietnam think about this
from the other side? Just asking!
