A Winter Memory

A lock of nature’s raven hair
Illusion from a flowing falls
Creates a snowy cameo
Long ‘fore a warming spring enthralls.
A moment frozen – wintertime -
And held within a fleeting thought.
When framed by icy rocks and wood
The soul of winter’s stream is caught.
