I wonder if anyone notices how much technology is the catalyst
for infringement on our fourth amendment rights.
Technology allows and encourages governments and businesses
to eavesdrop on the average citizen’s personal information and we never think
about it.
The storage source is the cloud, the phone, the tablet and
the computer. Years ago personal information was tucked into a file box
somewhere in the house. Now it’s readily available by government and
clandestine hackers alike.
It’s not necessarily covert; it’s overt just based on our
willingness to trust the security of where we store our personal information.
